I recently moved to Colorado and saw the most gorgeous dark blue flowers bordering petunias and marigolds, planted in the median strip near an apartment complex. Each plant appears to be 4-5 inches tall and planted approximately 6" apart. It wasn't lobelia (unless it's a variety I haven't seen) because it appeared to have more petals than lobelia. Does anyone have a clue as to what I might have seen? I'd like to use it in my garden next year. I gather it is an annnual and it is stunning! Would appreciate someone's help. Thanks.
