I received this snail vine from a wonderful trader here and it is growing well, however lately I've noticed the leaves are mottled, almost like paint splatter. The leaves are also a lot lighter green than others I've seen and very matte textured. Is it possible it's not a snail vine? or is it just not feeling well? Thank you so much for any insight you can give me!

Snail Vine (Phaseolus caracalla) question
Any ideas? The problem is getting worse and i'm noticing the same pattern on some of my other plants. Nutrient problem?
i have no idea but it's a cool effect.
does it look like this: http://images.google.com/images?q=lace%20bug&hl=en&lr=&sa=N&tab=wi
It looks like spider mite damage. :~(

I had a bout with them & what a mess they can make of things. I fought them with soapy water, systemic and summer oil. I had no luck killing them. Then, the next year they were gone.
thanks, guys, for the links! I'll see if soapy water works.
