I receive some Iris and need help

Can I plant them in a temparary spot then move them again when I get there new home ready?It's just to hot here to spray weed killer the till a new bed.I'm just not healthy enough to do it in this heat.Thanks ahead of time.Jody

Sure, plant them in a temporary spot or pot them up. Just get them into their permanent spot at least 6 weeks before your first frost to give them plenty of time to root in before winter.
