My Poor Thunbergia Laurifolia!!!

Mc Call Creek, MS

My thunbergia laurifolia had climbed all the way to the top of a pine tree about 25 feet tall. Along came Cindy and blew the tree down!

I clipped it back as little as possible and stuck a tomato cage over it. 'Guess I'm going to have to find a big trellis somewhere. A tomato cage is going to be no match for this vine!

Last year the wind blew down a pine tree that my Passiflora Incense had climbed up. Our pine trees are the pulpwood variety and are not meant for vine to climb on, I guess.

Donna, I should not be gripeing but rather being thankful that the storm did no serious damage.

Have you thought about what day you're coming over? I really want the gingers to be blooming and the butterflies to be active. My whole yard is a mess, but I know you understand.

Hugs,

probably late August after I get started in Physical Therapy. It hurts my right leg to drive right now so I don't leave the house very often and only go short distances lol
