Been wondering about JustmeLisa while that storm hit around New Orleans, Grand Isle, other town. I know she lives nearby. I learned there's over 250 thousand without electricity.

Hi all,
thank for the concern! We are ok down here in the swamps. We had some squalls late last night, but nothing bad. I had some things damaged at the nursery, but nothing that can't be fixed with a little bit of pruning. My FIL who works here with me lost power last night, had a few shingles blown off his roof and his mailbox is no longer standing.
I need to call Louisiana Sweet Pea..she lives in the St. Bernard Parish, where the storm did the most damage. Lots of folks down there without power. I will call her tonight.
As with most of us on the gulf coast, all eyes are towards Dennis the Menance...hoping and praying it just goes away!
