This picture does not do her justice, but I wanted to show off my saucy garden fairy, who has been hanging around in my redbud tree since I bought my house four years ago. I found her at a local antique mall. She's cut out of aluminum and signed, but I have not been about to find anything out about the artist.
My sister always looks a little askance whenever she see her, but I like her, and think she looks cute dancing away amongst the leaves. Although during wind storms she can make a racket when she bangs the fence! I bring her in every winter though. Wouldn't seem right to leave her out there without a coat. :)
