Tilia, Silver Linden

Tonasket, WA(Zone 5a)

Here is a photo of my 10yr. old Tilia tomentosa, Silver Linden, it isabout 25 feet tall. I planted a Honeysucl;e vine at its base and it has grown almost to the top and is quite interesting to see it in bloom before the Tilia blooms. This is a view of the tree. DonnaS

Nice tree, but watch that honeysuckle closely. It might overpower the tree. If it's too aggressive, cut it back every few years and make it start over.

StarhillForest, thanks for your interest and advice, so far the honeysuckle is behaving itself. It is very hot outside, 92, so I am not spending much time outside. DonnaS
