This picture was taken last spring...it is Phlox divaricata (it is all over!) Very pretty in the spring but then gets mildew.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Love Sweet Woodruff but made the mistake of planting a lot of it in a dry shade area. Lost most of it. It needs moisture. What about ajuga? I have it volunteering in a number of dry shade areas in my garden. Walk on it all the time.
