How do I know when it is ready to harvest? It is growing up into a point like it is supposed to. Should the base be a certain size? What should I look for???? Help!
Thanks - Kim
Romanesco Cauliflower - should I pick it?
Oh, I've always wanted to grow that! I've always had such a long list and not enough space, but will do it yet.... My suggestion would be to cut one and try it. No particular measurements are specified. If it looks edible, it indoubtedly is. Try cutting it so as to leave as much of the base stalk as possible, and you might get some side shoots.
Will do, in the AM. Didn't figure on any side shoots, that would be a bonus.
