I'm new to gardening. I'm re-doing a front bed that faces the street. It's shady and I live in Littleton, CO. I was told by a landscape designer to use Sweet Woodruff for groundcover in this bed. I tried it... it died. Like I said, I'm new to this and apparently didn't give it enough water. Does anyone have any suggestions for a hearty, attractive groundcover for this area of the country that likes shade?
