Cutting Dats Back?

I asked this question earlier and didn't mark the thread, than me forgot ha ha. Is it okay to cut dats back? We have had so much rain here and a couple of them were literally beaten down. I propped them up but they are not happy. A lot of leaf loss altho still blooming. Help!!!!!!
