I have six African Violets and they all seem to be growing well and they flower all the time considering all I do is water them whenever they go limp. For all they put out I really should be nicer to them! The AV pictured has sprouted a plantlet (if that's the proper term) and has grown quite leggy. Should I cut off the main plant? Would it take root? What do you do when an AV gets too leggy?
Please help. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

What should I do with this?
Check out the great information at www.robsviolet.com Rob describes things more clearly than I, and he has pictures too!
Click on "Culture Corner," then go to "Lessons" and click on "Rerooting a Violet." http://www.robsviolet.com/rerooting_a_violet.htm
I think I would leave the sucket (little plantlet) in the pot and cut off the main violet at the base of its very long "neck," then reroot the main violet according to Rob's directions.
Good luck!

Pics are so much easier than trying to explain it...lol
