I got these in an email. A Google search turned them up on the internet saying author unknown, so I feel safe in posting them here.
There are several, so be patient and keep scrolling to the next post.
Veggie Art
Too cute! I love the pig, and that grasshopper must have taken some time.
I'm going to print the pumpkin one. I've never thought about carving one from the top. Love that idea.
Thanks darius!
Pretty sure this is the guy! He has a couple of books out too! Cool stuff

Sure looks like the same guy, esp. the text descriptions. Thanks!
Hey Darius;
I found these sometime last summer or earlier and used them here:
http://ivella.com/produce.html
Thought they were plum cute too.
The source I acquired them from was coverage of a vegetable festival and art contest.
Somewhere from the Hawaiian islands to the Orient. [going by the background]
which I can remember but not tha rest ie location.
-
The different pictures were the various winners.
Since them I've seen them pop up several places. If this old man remembers correctly each one was carved by a different person. There was much fun and showed the excitement of the winners.
___________
Here is one I got from somewhere else.

HeyCharlie, Thanks. I thought they were cute, too. The okra grasshopper was ingenious.
Nice website. How does your produce stand fare?
Hey darius from tha Blue Ridge Mountains.
You look like a fun person!
Our produce stand kicks off in May althought its a year round thing.
It will peak through tha 4th of July and business starts slowing down till after school starts.
Usually in late Sept to Oct when I start hauling sweet potatoes it jumps again and runs good till after New Years. Dead again!
We live close to tha stand and we shonuf can't hide.
They come knocking on our door.
We sell Mayhaw jelly and quite a bit of sugar free jelly & preserves during tha year and it really helps in the off season.

I couldn't help but notice:
The Closet Gourmet

That sugar free stuff is really good huh!
Have a good one
Wow, heycharlie! I didn't think many folks visit my website, although I do get a few orders. With so many diabetics around, you'd think I'd sell more of the diabetic stuff.
I do not know Mayhaw.
We sell most of ours at tha stand. We do have signs on the highway, (off tha right-of-way)
Should you click the pic of Mayhaw on the produce site you can read the address where we get ours.
Here is a page that'll tell ya about mayhaw:

Clean neat and to tha point what mayhaw is and, since you're a cook, recipes to make jelly.
In the last 15 years mayhaw has out sold all other misc jams, jellys, etc and that includes various sypups by leaps and bounds. Including sugarfree!
We have repeat customers from the East & West coast. Lol when they can catch us open.
We run away sometimes!
Sometimes a person will comment, heard about it for years, never tasted it.
When they get around to it, most are hooked!
View of our stand from tha highway.
Pure country here. Nothing fancy!
