I have a simple chocolate syrup (cocoa powder, sugar & water) and mint syrup (mint leaves, water, sugar) recipe that I am hoping to can. I am guessing with the amt of sugar in them that bwb would be the road to go but has anyone here actually done either of these? I know some things have either a flavor loss or change (not necessarily for the better) with the canning process and didn't know if mint or cocoa fell into this category. I know both of these are canned commercially but I am having trouble finding a home canning recipe or instruction for the chocolate syrup. I can find mint jelly so I assume the syrup would have the same instructions time-wise.
Mint syrup and chocolate syrup - anybody can these?
