sweet potato
You are a wee bit late for this year. But next year. Easiest way is to buy plants from the local nursery. They start ariving here in early April. Make a bed in a deep tilled section of the gardem by pulling up a list ( long running mound) about 4 inches high and at least 12 inches wide. Transplant at 12 - 18 inches apart on the list. If you have several lists they need to be 36 inches (min) for buch varieties) 48 inches for vining cultivars between. Keep grass and weeds out via cultivation. Sweet potatoes are not heavy feeders, and have few pests other than rabbits and deer.
