Without a doubt...

This one is a girl! I bought this Desert Rose for myself for my birthday last week and it reminded me of a thread (don't remember which forum) about why we call some plants girls and some boys. Well..there's no wondering with this one!
I just love the flower too.

I bought a bunch of little ones from a guy on ebay last year at a VERY resonable price.. looks like I'll be seeing blooms soon.. but the one pictured above is my pride and joy.. I love the trunk shape and it is varigated..

Ooh I didn't notice that! It is very beautiful. And actually while we're talking about it, what kind of conditions do these gals like? Full sun, minimal water? I have mine on a full direct sun windowsill...watered it once so far and it hasn't croaked yet. I know I need to move it outside but I'm really enjoying it :)

yes to the minimal water.. I rotted my HUGE one this past winter by it being too wet.. I allow my soil to dry out completely and then water throughly. When I foliar feed my brugs I usually do a quick pass over on the adenium. If you see no leaf scorching in full sun then I would leave it there.. I have mine in morninng sun and filtered afternoon sun.
