Fragrance

Are most or all of these strongly fragrant?
I have a brugmansia but want to see if the datura are scented.

Will they grow in zone 9

I have been told some of them are, but the only one I have doesn't have a frangrance. Yes they will grow in Zone 9.

i have a few that are lightly scented. nothing like really strong like gardenias. just a subtle scent.

I have single yellow datura. I can really smell it from a distance when there are a lot of blooms. If there are a few flowers, the smell is not really strong.

I've heard that about 'some' yellows.

kateliza - if yours produces seed from the single yellow, would you be interested in swapping something for them? I don't have a single yellow!! would love to see one!
