Bought 2 tiny plants last fall, both are blooming. One is not what I want for the garden (small, pink) don't remember the tag (it is there)-anyway...when can I dig it out to trade. It is on trellis and would not be that hard to unwind-or if wait until fall, should not be a problem to dig.
Just wondering which would be best.
Another clematis question
I'd wait until fall but then I'd also never even think of giving one away. I've planted over 75 of different ones and love them all. Many are not labeled correctly because my nursery man told me that clematis and astilbe are frequently mislabeled due to the size of the seeds. Just one flying clematis seed can land on another variety's head and there goes the start of the wrong name!
