These scales were in with the bags with the dwarf Asiatic lilies (Butter Pixie) i just got. Every one that broke off is sprouting! If it were always that easy, we could just buy a few nice lilies and tear them apart. Of course then we would have to wait... and wait...

Anyone know how many years these little pups will take to reach blooming size?

Wow! Those must be really prolific. I bet you'll get a bloom or 2 next year and plenty the next.

Should i plant them as deeply as i would plant the bulb? After all that is where Mother Nature plants them isn't it...
