This looks as if I should know what it is. Maybe that's only because I have looked at it so many times. Almost missed seeing this and it is the only one I have seen around here. Desert Christmas Cactus is often 'nursed' by another plant. I spotted a large one in a half dead mesquite and it wasn't till after I snapped a few photos that I realized that there was also a vine growing around the mesquite & cactus. This photo was taken of a part that was growing beyond the cactus and shows several leaves and a tendril. I have more photos if it will help
