OK, here's our annual Peony harvest pictures. All of these so far are from my garden. I've harvested about 12 dozen so far and the bushes are still going strong! I'm harvesting and drying these for use in arrangements for our annual Fair. Last year we harvested and dried 39 dozen but due to illness it won't be quite as much this year --- oh, but I couldn't give it up!!!
Most of these are Karl Rosenfeld, Sarah Bernhardt, Felix Krouse and Sorbet.
They do make lovely cut flowers - if you can bear to!
Yes, but they're gone so fast! This way I can enjoy them hanging up (my garage smells wonderful!) and they dried, they'll last in an arrangement for about 1 - 2 years!
