What would you call this?

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

This is a bloom on what I have been calling passion flower for about 30 years...after a bloom or so the first year it has never blossomed again until this year. I think it is the fertilizing that I am doing now.

Not really sure what it is though...any ideas?

Thanks, Margie

I have never fertilized my passion flowers. They bloom profusely.

Margie,

I'm only familiar with a few passionflowers. You may want to google for passionflower photos and compare what you find with yours.

San Jose has had a wet winter and spring and maybe that has something to do with your passionflower blooming. I keep weather information on San Jose on my Netscape — home sick.

picturelady, it looks like a blue passion flower. you can run a search on DG and see if you think so.

That looks alot like P. Blue Bouquet. Yeah now that I've compared it to my pics, I'm 99% that's it. Here is a picture of mine, tell me if you think I'm right. I'm a little color blind so I'm a little off on close colors.
