Lima Di Viola...

Flanders, NJ(Zone 6a)

Did anyone ever hear of this, or something near this name, in regards to an Eggplant variety. I just picked 3 up at a local Mom & Pop's nursery, off the beaten path and some? Thanx, Danny

No, there are154 cultivars in the plantfiles, but this isn't one of them. Nor did a google search turn up anything, It sounds like an Italian cultivar, but I have not found it in European suppliers catalogs either, It could be a local name, an heirloom from seed savers, or a renamed cultivar. Grow it out and get pictures, you may have something unique.
