Favorite Hydrangea?

Decatur, GA(Zone 7a)

What is your favorite hydrangea and why? I'll start.

My favorite has to be Ayesha. It is pink, with each each little petal cupped like a spoon. It doesn't get too big, the flowerheads don't flop with a thundrstorm, and it doesn't wilt in the afternoon heat. Truly a winner. http://www.marysplantfarm.com/_photos/shrubs/hydrangea_macrophylla_Ayesha.htm

Who's next? :-)

I just discovered the native Oak Leaf Hydrangea and it stole my heart.

Aren't they great? I have mine to the north of my house, in full shade, and they still bloom like crazy. They are definetly a four season plant - one of the hydrangeas to bloom, the blooms go from white to a beautiful rose color, the leaves are gorgeous in the fall, and the peeling bark is remarkable in the winter.

Ayesha is a beauty. What a plus it doesn't wilt in the heat.
Judy, that is a wonderful oakleaf the bloom is spectacular and I really like the shape of the leaves.
My favorite is the Big leaf hydrangea Mopheads. They are just now begining to show their stuff.
