I got these seeds from Margiempv and I'm excited to see the result. Usually I can't make seeds grow at all. I did try this seed starter system that has a mat underneath it to wick up water into the plant. It seems to be working.
Does anyone have ideas about when to transplant them? There are four seeds in each pot.
We're sprouting seeds.
Up here I would plant most out so they settle in well before winter. Don't have a clue about your first frost (?) date -if any. Also don't know about your sun in california. Think you should ask an iris grower near you.
Saw the one labeled PCI. drool drool. You must have a great climate. PCIs are so pretty.

I've only got one pci up and they aren't crazy about being transplanted. We'll see how they go. So I should probably put the TBI seedlings in July when I put the rest of my new ones in.
And yikes! Please no frost. We've only had a couple of bad years (a couple of days below freezing is bad) in the 30 years I've been gardening here and I've lost plants when it's happened.
And yes, next to zone 2 (zone 2??!!) we've got a pretty generous climate.
