One more: I think this one was mislabeled. It came with a package of five from BJ's. It may look light green but it's a white double and grows through Crape Myrtle.

Beautiful pictures of your Clematis and trellis.

Pirl, that's an outstanding combination, and the trellis is just beautiful. Perfect for that spot! My husband made me a trellis but more functional, not so lovely!

Unique trellis!

What material is the trellis made of?

Thanks...

taramark - I'm the gardener and he's the retired bank president now into copper trellises, wood trellises, obelisks, tuteurs, etc. I know it's wood but I'm not sure. In cedar, in a magazine, it sold for $550. He made it for $40. I'll go ask him. . . ..

Curvy pieces are fir
Verticals are CCA
Horizontals are cedar

All were leftover pieces from other projects!

P.S. to taramark: I wasn't delaying answering you - we've been on Cape Cod since 6/8.
