Queen Anne's Lace

Langley, WA(Zone 7b)

I love this stuff. It is growing along the sides of the roads here. I want to gather some seeds for my own garden. When is the best time and how do I do it?

Thanks,
Gwen

LOL - you shouldn't have much trouble, just yank a plant that's flowering and throw it in your garden where you want it to grow. Do you get Black Swallowtail Butterflies in WA? The Parsleyworms that turn into black swallowtails LOVE Queen Anne's Lace!! (And they're our favorite 'pillar, too - fun to make those orange horns come out!!) The Q.A.Lace here is too aggressive tho, I let one grow cuz of the pillars and regretted it. Got huge and I pulled babies for years within ten feet of where I let that one grow!! Good luck!! :)
