'Forever Gold' or Not?

Central Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

I received Forever Gold as a bonus in 2003. The plant I received has bloomed well for me. It is a prolific rebloomer. However, I am now questioning whether it is Forever Gold. It is a yellow self and a rebloomer like Forever Gold. My problem is the beards are distinctly orange and every picture I have seen of Forever Gold has a yellow beard. Can anyone help? I don't what to put my pictures in the plantfiles if it is not the right flower.

Anyone have an opinion about whether or not this is forever gold?
If it is, I would like to put in the plantfiles.

Well, I looked up 'Forever Gold' in Sutton's catalog. It is described as a golden yellow self with self beards; meaning the beards are pretty much the same color as the standards and falls. Your iris clearly has contrasting beards, so I don't believe the iris that you have is 'Forever Gold'. I hope this helps.

Thanks flower,
It does help. This is what I suspected but needed someone to confirm what I was thinking. Now I just have to find a rebloomer that fits the description of my little prolific iris.
