Okay, there was no way I could get a picture. They moved so fast I wasn't sure I saw anything at first, but when I went out to the garden at night to do slug inventory (aghhhhhh) I kept seeing something like a worm jerk back into its hole. What the..? Do regular earthworms do this and I just never knew, not having gone to look at night before? It was weird...
Quick-disappearing night worm?
They are light and vibration sensative... that is normal behavior for them...
lol, Yep, they are earthworms. Try catchin one, its a challenge. I used to go out at night as a kid to collect em for fishing. It takes some skill.
Thanks. They're sure a lot faster at night than I've observed during daylight.
