I just painted the siding on the front of my house white, with big plans to use it as a backdrop for this spot. It faces south and gets morning shade from a crepe myrtle (you can see the shade from it in the pic), but full afternoon sun. Nothing seems to grow there, I think because it our front yard slopes toward the house and that spot doesnt drain well. I'd like tallness to fill in the space of the siding. Are there things that would do well there? I was thinking maybe I could add a bunch of soil to make it higher. If worse comes to worse I can just fill the space with various containers. What do you guys think? I'm open to anything...
Thanks!!
~Rachael
Any suggestions for this spot in my front yard?
