Ants and passionflower vine?

I have ants on my passionflower vine. It seems like they are collecting some form of honeydew. Is this normal? WIll this hurt the plant or blooms?

Yes, it is normal. They also eat some of the eggs that the Gulf Frits lay. It is nature doing what it should, lol.
