hi brook,
by tickling tomatoes I mean:
i take my finger and put it gently on the inside of the open flower (not way inside, just on the outside of the inside)got it? :-)
then i move my finger back and forth like i'm tickling it. :-) then i move onto the next flower and do the same thing, with the same finger. i did it most days i was in the garden. if a new bud opened i included it, if one started to turn, i stopped. very simple. i saw this when i was watching a home and garden TV show. seems to work. so set forth and tickle, soon you'll have tomatoes with happy faces on them. LOL :-)
