Killing Thrips Organically

Anyone know of a relatively nontoxic way to kill thrips? They are ruining my gardenia flowers presently. I tried NEEM and they laughed, had a big party and invited more friends over.

I really am guessing here, but have you tried spraying with a soap solution?

I really can't say enough about this company - they're in GWD and here's their recommendation for thrips.

Yuska - The Neem preparation also contained a soap. Unfortunately, the product also withered the gardenia flowers. I have tried soap + vegetable oil on camelia scale and it hasnt worked well so I am kind of down on it. Might be worth re-visiting.

Dea - What I might do next year is by these organisms and spread them under the bushes a week and a half before flowering. I'll post if it works.
