Is this a male persimmon flower, or a female? I'm guessing male, but want to know for sure.
Flower gender
Male persimmon flowers typically occur in groups of three while females are solitary, but they look about the same otherwise unless you do the incredible shrinking thing and climb in for a very close look.

Ok, so the male flowers should be in groups of 3. I'll watch for that. What should it look like if I sliced a blossom in half?
