Anyone know what these odd root nodes are on my Ceanothus? Had to move it today and found these attached in various areas of the root ball.

LOL! I actually think I found the answer....supposedly they're nitrogen nodules.
'A nitrogen-fixing bacteria called Frankia forms root nodules on Ceanothus.
