I'm hoping it's not some glaring soil deficiency or surplus, esp. since it's in the bed with my carrots.
What would make marigold leaves purple?
Seems like they kinda can look purpley while they are adapting to being transplanted and it seems here if it is on the cooler side they can look purpley. I don't think it is really anything serious.
Light frost has turned the leaves on several of my annuals a purpley color. The new growth on a few perennials, too.
I believe that the purple is because the soil is still cool. They will green up when the soil warms.
