Iris (probably species) ID anyone?

CREZIERES, France(Zone 8a)

The above, (~18" tall) is peeking through at the base of my azalea. It comes from a packet of 'mixed Iris' seed and has bloomed for the first time after about five years. (We have a fairly short growing season here).
Any help much appreciated...

We're not ignoring you. I love the combination of the azalea with the little Iris. I have absolutely no idea what it is. Iris seed doesn't grow to type so you have a one of a kind. Lucky you!

(Zone 8b)

It looks like a 'Cape Iris", we had something very similar when we lived in th UK.

I see the similarity and you may be right. Here is a close up (taken at great risk to the lower branches of the azalea!).

I only know those as "butterfly iris." I think they're so cute!
