question on growing potatoe vines???

do you grow them in pots so you have them for the following year or do you ground sow???

i had a few in the ground before i moved and went to dig them up but didnt find anything.

i am talking like blackie and batatas poatoe vines for foliage.

I grow them in baskets, the ground and in pots. And, yes, I DO bring a pot in and overwinter for the following season. =) Also put the baskets into the garage, and they came back!
