clematis blooms

Here are some more clematis blooms. I am surprised how wel they do here in Florida as hot as it gets.

Its Proteus, but down here rarely grows double.

I thought proteus was not only a double, but a pinky/mauve color?

Yours looks like the gorgeous H.F. Young to me...

I buy a lot of plants from Walmart, Sams, and Costco, Home Depot, and Lowes, and they frequently have different plants in the package, than what they are marked.

Maybe yours was mislabelled?

It seems to happen especially with the clematis and daylilies...*sigh...
