charlotteda - you did a fine job with that camera. The darker the iris the harder it is to take a good photo.

Honest folks , I find this hard to belive , but here goes anyway

Above post described my reaction to finding the picture of the Arilbred Iris Big Black Bumblebee , last night .

This afternoon DD and I visited a local private garden for her annual perennial sale.

THERE SHE WAS! Standing proudly in one of the many beds ............ beautiful Bumblebee.

The lady (Lou) was not aware that she had bloomed already. I got dibs on the first division.

I got a private invite to come back in the fall to check for any iris or daylilies I may want.

You are living right ! Girl
