Do any of you successfully keep a rose in a pot in a cool climate? I am trying to advise my son who wants to pot his rose and lives in 5 zone. thanks.

Hi Anastatia, I don't live in that zone, so I can't be that much help. I did find this link today http://www.taunton.com/finegardening/pages/gvt001.asp with general information and a handy list of the best roses for containers (in their opinion).
I would suggest you post in the roses forum if you don't find what you need in this one. I don't know how many of them come over here (I am fairly new) but I have read their posts about container roses so I'm sure they could help you.
