It seems that problems are boundless this growing season...
I'm planting my passion flowers on a fence this year and I had adularia and nephrodes there... I thought all cold weather was safely past but last night it hit 40. EVERY thing else looks fine but these two vines has turned brown and soft, but not mushy, over night.
I'm probably just worrying for nothing but 40 shouldn't have killed them, should it? They were nice sized with good roots, not seedlings at'all. Even if the foliage looks bad, should it send up new vines?
Will my passionflowers recover?
Give them some time. If the roots were healthy, they should come back.
That's VERY good news.
