Does anyone grow this variety or another one that is described as having a Free Flowering habit.
Would love to hear some reports of first hand experience, so I can make a somewhat educated choice on what to purchase.
Here is the description I found for General Sikorski:
A very popular clematis for its strong growth and free flowering habit. Dramatic 8" dark bluish lavender flowers with a tint of red in the center appear in mid-season. Winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Belongs to pruning group two.
