Instead of blooming in large clusters like it does in the fall, it has solitary flowers.

I hate mine it only gets blooming good before we have a freeze. Guess it is just not hot enough for it down here. Maybe since it is a little older this year maybe it will bloom sooner(hopefully) This year is its last chance(3rd year). and it is history if it doesn't bloom untill fall

Donna, mine didn't bloom last summer, not till fall. I think when they get older, they bloom more.

The one i dug this fall and stuck in the g'house is now blooming in a pot. The one i left in the ground has broke dormancy and is now about 1 ft tall and starting to send out its feelers.
