Walmart find

Tellico Plains, TN(Zone 7b)

Iris Pallida 'Aurea Variegata' - The green leaves are
variegated with vertical stripes of creamy yellow.

Grabbed 2 of them and they will stay in the pots until they finish blooming.

Fragrance is wonderful ......... Like a sweet grapey lilac perfume .

So pleased with this find , I've seen variegated Iris before but not as tall as these are.

Very pretty, I have a variegated also, but my flowers are paler than yours, very light blue...when they come into bloom I will send a picture! I saw a yellow vari. online and they are very unsual as well, I love that they are so different!

They will form nice clumps. I buy them at half price in December at a local nursery. You can plant them directly outside or hold them over winter under lights. They'll do fine.

I tired the varigated iris--drove me nuts! I kept seeing the white striped blades in a distance and thought "sick iris?" Need to get my brain re-trained. Had same problem with varigated phlox.
