Yes, I'm going on a holiday!!! I'm going to a place called Llantwit Major in the Vale of Glamorgan for most of a week, at the beginning of July.
I say most of the week. Unfortunately everywhere is fully booked on the Saturday night, so I will spend one night up in Bridgend, a few miles away, but will return the next day. Next year I know to book months and months in advance...
There's a storytelling festival on. I'll miss a little of it unfortunately, but I'll still see enough of it to enjoy it. My old friend Stanley Robertson is appearing at it. Next year, if I plan on going, I'll book earlier.
The guest house that I'm booked into in Llantwit Major looks very good indeed. I've decided to book in for another 3 days at the end of the festival, so that I can explore the town, maybe go for a stroll on their beach, or take a day up to Cardiff.
Okay, this isn't perfect, but there will be enough for me to enjoy. Who knows what will be happening in my life next year?
