cornstarch packing peanuts

Can I put these in the compost pile? They break down when they get wet. I don't want to put them in the garbage because the point is that they are supposed to be biodegradible, but I don't know what to do with them. Has anybody done anything else with them?

I composted mine.

Some I reused in a package that I mailed.

Well, I guess I'll give it a try. They dissolve well enough on my dogs' noses, so they will probably dissolve in the compost pile too. I'll let you know!

And they'll provide excellent food for your composting microbes.
