wal-mart purchased of course! there were a ton of struggling little clematis plants begging to be adopted and i had to rescue two. breaks my heart knowing some of them will just end up in the trash. one of the plants had two little blooms i had to prune off because they were just about gone. the other had a nice bloom going and i think it'll make it. both were still kind of spindly (is that a word?). i gave them both some t.l.c, and hopefully they will grow to be productive little clematis :)

Well of COURSE you had to rescue them! I totally relate. LOL
What a beauty, and that flower is it's way of saying "thank you". I tell you, the ones I have rescued seem to reward me with the most blooms!

Dr. Ruppel is a "tried and true" Clematis. I'm sure that it will reward you with beautiful blooms for years to come!

I have two plants, from Walmart, of course! Have grown/bloomed well for me last 2 years. Love it.
