New bloom for this year
Lavender Trumpet Vine
Lovely shade of purple.
OH MY
I'm in love!
Today I saw the first blooms on mine. I would try and root some cuttings if someone comes along and tells me how. I think I will go out and take several cuttings and put them in moist vermiculite and place them in the shade and see if I can root some that way.
So pretty, I saw that mine was blooming this week too.
can it grow in a pot????
It was growing in a pot when I bought it, lol.
Oh my .... I need one of these!! That is beautiful.
Mine is in a 15gal pot with a trellis in the pot.
I need one of those also. It's beautiful.
Monterey, I don't think mine bloomed for a long period last year, I'll pay more attention this year.
Wow, wish mine were as purple as that, there more on the pink side.
Is that the love charm vine (clystosoma callistegioides)?
Where can I get one?
Lisa
Your picture looks like a watercolor, so pretty!! We have one at work. It is lovely when it blooms but it has such a short blooming period, I do not think it is worth it to have such a huge vine sitting there all tangled looking for the rest of the 11 1/2 months a year.
Sylvia, your yard looks just great.
I agree-Rich
I think I got a pkt of these seeds @ Kmart but they were labled Snapdragon Vine. Same flower in the pict. They sure are pretty.
Wow, Sylvia. Beautiful yard.
