NOW you knew I would say EXCELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLENT TO THE MAXXXXXXXXX !!! :)) Rock On !! :)

Well, maybe you guys can help me. I want to have some privacy hedges that grow kinda tall to block out nosey neighbors. What would be the best, and fastest growing hedges for zone 9? Also, we only have 8 inches of land from our driveway to grow them on, so I probably would have to keep it bare on the very bottom so it won't look like it's over 8 inches. I would think the top could go over but not the bottom.

Hey thats magic, it must be Christmas again! Thanks Dave.

and Dene,
I reckon that I'm in a 9 here in Ireland, although its wet.
I would think of using Hawthorn for your hedge, its tough and takes clipping well. Also keeps dogs and kids out (or in)

Would poncirus be an option ??? ...it would make a brutal hedge for sure .
